Free technology for teachers: Teaching history with technology

I’m not hosting this summer Practical Ad Tech Summer Camp. Of course I’m hosting some online courses for those who are interested. The first I’m hosting is starting that June. That course is about teaching history with technology.

Teaching History with Technology is a five-part course that will meet every Thursday in June through Zoom at 4pm ET. It’s been a year since I last taught this course so I’ve updated it with some new resources and new strategies for 2022.
In teaching history with technology you will learn how to help students conduct better online research, how to create history videos, how to create online primary source-based activities, how to develop virtual tours and much more. Even if you have no computer science experience, you will learn how to create your own history app!

The course consists of five live meetings. Each meeting will be recorded for those who register but cannot attend all sessions. Handouts will be provided for each session.

Save 10% when registering online by midnight on Friday (ET). Register here!

A note about costs:

With the support of those who register to participate in my webinars, courses and workshops, I am able to keep the technology free for teachers. Although the tools I feature in my course are free, there is no time for my teaching and hosting.
